About Us:

My name is Briana Tholen and I am a mom of 3 beautiful children, Eliana (4), Micah (2), and Caroline (4 months). Up until recently, I was a high school science teacher at St. Francis High School in Traverse City. I decided to put my teaching career on hold to be able to spend more time with my children. During the transition from teaching to becoming a stay-at-home mom, Bayshore Baby Co., was born.

My husband and I love to travel, but have learned how challenging it can be to travel with children - mainly because of all of the extra gear you have to pack! On one of our trips we used a baby gear rental company and it was amazing! It was during that trip I knew we needed something similar in Northern Michigan.

This is a family-owned small business and I will be handling every transaction personally. My goal is to provide you with all of the necessities of home for your kids. If you don’t see an item listed (or in stock) that you would love to rent, please reach out to me via e-mail. If I have enough notice, I will try my best to have that item for you! We want to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.

Last year (2023) we actually moved our family to Charlevoix from Traverse City. We are still serving all of the Traverse City area and will continue to do so. We also will serve Elk Rapids, Torch Lake, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, Boyne City, East Jordan and surrounding areas.
